A random clip from the cult classic "Incubus". It is one of the only films made entirely in Esperanto. However, language enthusiasts have noted that the actors' prounciation here is not always accurate. Ann Atmar's pronunciation is decent, but Shatner sounds French at times.

What an interesting comment, rinntin. I am from Canada and am an Anglophone, but I now live and work in Norway. Within 3 months of me moving there and learning Norwegian, I, my Chilean colleague and my Romanian colleague were having good conversations in Norwegian, it is so simple to learn. I hearby nominate Norwegian as that any other language you mentioned.
So what constitutes a bullshit language? Esperanto has none of the crazy, erratic inconsistencies of other languages. It is FAR easier to learn and as a common NEUTRAL language, it works time and time again to link people who speak different languages. After just 3 months of study, people from China, Greece, Romania and Spain can have a good conversation. Try THAT with any other language!
Esperanto, being a product of its time, does have a sexist element in that the feminine is created from the masculine by the addition of the suffix "in". Viro - man, virino - woman. We have the same thing in sexist English: hero - heroine but with the great inconsistencies of English: Lion - lionESS, not lionINE! Nuts. Spanish has worse sexism: ELLAS, if all in a room are women, ELLOS, if just ONE man enters the room.
what about words like "bow" (verb) and "bow" (nown)! how the hell can one word be pronounced 2 different ways and mean 2 completely different things?! we speak a pretty messed up language, you and i.

All-caps makes my statement more correct. That's a fact; live with it.
And Esperanto vocabulary does evolve.
