You should be giving concerts at colleges and universities on the complete works of Scott Joplin. You're playing this by ear, right?

i like the speed of this and it is the best performance i've heard of this piece.. ive been playing this piece for about 1 1/2 years now as im doing my grade 8 in june and i think it is a very enjoyable. im 15 and i think it takes more experience for me to play as well as you but thank you for inspiring me :)

Oh yeah! This, Maple Leaf, and Leola are all basically clones of each other. Especially in the A sections.
True that he used many of the same chords and structures in basically all of his rags, but he uses the standards for just about any rag. It works no? And it makes them easier to learn, in my eyes at least.
