Hi,
This is slightly different from my other vids but anyways, it's just a clip of the power-kiting that I did down in Cornwall this year, some jumps began to get pretty big by the end of the day, biggest was probably ~ 15-20 ft, awesome fun! Apologies for the long pictures section, I had so many to put on! Kite was an 8.5 blade 3 (flexifoil) with a wind of roughly 15-25 mph, location was Porth Kidney Sands between St. Ives and Hayle. By the way, this is not a kite for beginners (known as the 'Widowmaker' by some!), to start out your probably best off getting a 4-6m and using it in light winds till you get the hang of it. Finally, If you have any kite related questions I'll be happy to answer them (where I can). Music is 'Streamline' by Pendulum
Cheers For Watchin!
Kieran
Cost me around £200 when I got it, and that was second hand! Flexifoil don't actually sell this size any more but you can still pick up a blade 4 8.5 on ebay for around £250 - £300, a brand new Blade 6.5 (the biggest they do now unfortunately) will cost in the region of £600 with control gear, if your starting out though I'd probably recommend getting a smaller kite: HQ Beamer or similar, much easier and less lethal to start out, much easier and more fun to learn on!
Fly safe,
Kieran

hey dude, wind was only 15-20 mph but trust me, that's pretty strong for an 8.5m blade! Can't wait to try it in summin stronger, I'll put another vid up when I get a chance!
