War: This Is My Prayer

Poem

Blood of the Demons,
Possessed the Poor.
Death Come the Innocent,
Bless them to the Door.

Warriors rise from those that flee,
Blessed are those who lost souls,
For those like thee.

Blackened are those who curse thy tomb,
For flowers of their graves will not be to bloom.

Death is the day you are told to return,
For God knows you shall not be to burn.

Rising to Saint Peter,
Your soul will be.
Light fills your body,
Thy souls to thee.

The soldiers salute at time of death,
The stories are told as you are laid to rest.
The words spoken out in his name,
For those words are meant to be,
In his fame.

And when the gets to Heaven
To St. Peter he will tell
One more Soldier Reporting
I have served my time in hell

Should we be able to tell?
Why is it that he fell?
The Lord knew of the pain.
It was time to tame.

For as the warrior falls,
Another takes his place.
For the young fight our wars,
As the old Dictate our lives.

To be puppets in a war of the unknown,
Breakdowns of society,
The world falls apart.

Will you show us thy way?
Give us a sign up on me.

To Forgive our sins,
To give us your sons love for all,
So we may live in a greater peace.
My Lord we thank you for our lives,
To be among the living,
To survive in the harmony of peace.

For those who fight in hell,
Will have stories to tell,
Will you wish them well?


This is a very special poem/prayer that i have written. It is about war, i was inspired by the USMC, and also my grandpa back in World War II. My grandpa was actually part of the D-Day invasion over seas. I wrote this poem for those like my Grandpa, -Clarence Burt Lee- and i hope you enjoy what so many enjoyed. I have shown so many people this poem and they have all been touched by the power this poem has had. Thank you to Joe Jacinto for the inspiring pictures in this video. Thank you to all men and women of any army fighting for the the people. Thank you for watching this video.
