Swindon Borough Council recently entered into a public/private partnership with Digital City (UK) Ltd to provide a WiFi 'mesh' across the Borough of Swindon.

No one in Swindon objects to the principle of the scheme, but the process employed by two Councillors, Roderick Bluh (Leader of the council), & Mark Edwards (Lead member for finance), and the actions of three Directors of the Council have caused a debate which has lasted for four months and has now seen questions asked in Parliament.

On Monday the 22nd of March at 10pm, Anne Snelgrove MP, (Swindon South), used an 'adjournment debate' to bring her constituents concerns about the public/private partnership between Swindon Borough Council and Digital City (UK) Ltd, (also known as Signal or Getsignal) to the attention of Parliament.
