I felt the Siepi clip of Fin ch'han dal vino in the sing-off didn't show him off well enough! So here is a live recording from 1962. I also feel it's a much more exciting tempo than the Furtwängler recording.
I left the applause on at the end :)

It's a stupid performanc- the musical line is totally destroyed - it;s a singer who has resonance where his brains
ought to be . He mistakes speed for interpretation /

Yes, it's quick.
If you don't like this performance listen to some other recordings of him. On the whole, Siepi sang with great musicality and great phrasing. I cannot agree that his singing is stupid and unmusical.

It IS in B flat. It might sound higher because the live recording is a bit tinny. But I'm pretty sure this is the proper speed...
