Charger accident with Codiac Transit Moncton

Around 12:30pm today on Chapman Street in the West End of Moncton a accident between a Codiac Transit bus and a automobile. Codiac Transit brought in another bus to look after the passengers and the airbags deployed in the car.

What Happen? Did the charger hit the bus or what? Sure hope the driver of the car is ok.

That's what happens when you don't pay attention. Pretentious f%^k heads in fast cars think they are invincible and screw with things that are bigger than them, ie: buses and transport trucks. People argue about weather buses have the right of way ... my opinion is that if its bigger than you, it has the right of way, and not to mess with it ... My dad told me that when I was a little kid .. I follow that rule .. and I've never been been in an accident with a truck or bus yet .... lol

No idea on the details of this accident. But myself I've had some close calls with buses in Moncton who have cut out infront of me when I have the right of way. Some of these instances while I was on my motorcycle.  Some bus drivers put their time limit before the safety of others I guess.

Nah, a younger fella, Might have been late 20's and a passenger.

I think he was distracted because well, like said.. HOW could he have missed a BUS driving INFRONT of his car.

(i thought he was on a cell, not 100% but it looked like it at the time).

The bus had just turned on Newton st and was heading up, as it passed Chapman the charger didnt stop at the sign (driver claims he didnt see it) and hit the bus about where the billboard Ad is located at. The bus driver never seen him since he had already passed Chapman when the car came down.I was sitting at the rear of the bus and seen him at the last minute.

It was unfortunate but thankfully the two older ladies were not hurt, nor was the driver from what i heard.
