The Tea Party Movement has been gaining steam since its inception earlier this year. The Tea Partiers claim to espouse the values laid down by the Constitution and keep American leaders accountable for their actions. A recent poll indicates more Americans are likely to vote for a Tea Party candidate than a Republican. How coherent are the arguments the Tea Party Movement lays out? And is it a movement American politicians should take seriously?

  • I didn't see any signs protesting war spending.

  • RT, It's about time you gave some coverage to this movement. I am still sore at you for not covering 9/12 which was a huge protest. Thanks for this though.

  • dale robertson is NOT the leader of the tea party movement, nor is he the founder.

    Just do a google search

  • Why did the Klan change their name to the Teabaggers?

  • ok, let me get this straight. The tea party is speaking about freedom for the people, people of America, and all of those "American" things. What the fuck are y'all talking about. You want revolution, fair enough. Another point, the interviewee said this is a movement of the American people. The American people are the millions of immigrants that came here for a better life. In this video and others, I only see white Christians from the mid-west. I am having trouble understanding.

  • ok... so let me get this straight..from what i've read from these comments..

Tea party = constitution, liberty, freedom, "we the people", caring about america, and other generic-sounding slogans....

but what the heck does that mean?????

i mean, it's good for getting emotional and moral support from the people, but what are the specific stances on the issues? i don't hear much substance from these people.. the little bit i do hear is basically republican stances. so what's the difference?

  • I tried to play 'Wheres the Minorities' with this and I think I saw a Native American woman.

  • TEA PARTY = LYNCH MOB PARTY
