Dog on runway as plane slides - 06-14-09

An Indonesian commercial plane has slipped off the runway after landing at Tanah Merah Airport in Papua.

The plane reportedly lost control after a dog ran across the runway. Local police spokesman Nurhabri told Metro TV that the plane lost its grip after landing and could not make a left turn.

No-one was injured in the incident.

easy to write a comment when you are not in that situation, visual landing needs extra focus, and to be attracted by a dog cross by....ya your adrenalin is sky rocket. but at the end this could be prevented.....
