@lodhol I'm not sure about that but the fit is very nice and the detailing is good so perhaps that's true. I'm building another Academy kit now. A Sherman tank in 1:35

@MakingModelsAgain Thank you. Always flattered by your comments. I've actually never been to any model shows but I'd love to go. I always look in the mags for dates etc but something always seems to come up and get in the way. I bet the standard is simply amazing.

Excellent work with a good finished kit. I build this same kit and I remember using more filler than normal.

Superb! What a stunning-looking plane! And a big sucker too! The cockpit detailing was particularly fine, but then so was the rest of it, such as the wheels struts and the weapons load. Fantastic... again! ;)

I don't suppose you made it to Telford at the weekend? I was there with my club (hence I'm only getting round to catching up now) and the standard of modelling was amazing! Some of the models on show, especially those entered into the competition, were gobsmacking!

@dondeyout1 I used to keep (and breed) tropical (fresh water) fish once upon a very long time ago... I guess I should have recognised it.. and what a brilliant idea, anyway!
