Tesla Coil - # 1, Homemade Ruffino Lightning

This was done in 1997...I love lightning and Nikola Tesla showed me the way to make it at home.... here I used a 15,000 volt 60ma neon light transformer to power this up. 1 homemade capacitor ,consisting of ten - 8"x 10" plates of aluminum flash,using lexon plexi-glass, in a 5 gallon bucket filled with 10-30 motor oil to prevent flash over. Rotory spark. Secondary Coil is 6.5" x 21" pvc pipe wound close with 23 awg magnet wire enameled, 840 Turns, aprox. 1,400 ft of wire & about 40 turns per inch. Primary Coil is flat pancake type. 2awg insulated wire. Any questions? please ask.
