Just a quick vid mainly for the benefit of those on www.tigertiple.com just to highlight the exact nature of the misfire on my steamer.

Apologies for the constantly changing aspect of the video, it was filmed on my iPhone so not the most ideal viewing ratio.

Towards the end of the video I give it some beans and you can hear it just craping out - still not sure of the cause...any help would be appreciated.

  • Have you checked the ignition system. Coils, electrical connections, spark plugs, crank sensors and possibly ECU. Once i had a bandit 1200 with a miss fire and turned out to be a faulty spark plug could be something silly. worst case scenario it could be weak compression. hope this helps.
