three gtx 280 GPUs is : 3 * 240 = 720£
vs
2 ATI HD 5770 GPUs is : 2 * 152 = 304£
And when it come to gaming you can't see the defiance . except you running 4 games on 6000* 4000 display .
don't forget the wattage .
ATI 5770 is 22 watt average consume
GTX 184 watt average consume
i will go for CrossfireX

ATI wins.... just saying.. it took 2 of th\ere cards to beat 3 Nvidea cards..... nuff said.... i love it wen people say NVidea is better wen they r doing comparisons with 3-4 Nvidea Cards vs. 1-2 Ati cards... ITS HOW MANY CARDS U HAVE THAT UPS THE SCORE SO BAD>>> if ati could do 3-4 in crossfire obviously they would win.....
