Sung by Robert Stephens (Benedick) from the 1965 Zeffirelli stage production of Much Ado About Nothing. Although the singing is terrible, I thought it was a nice combination of words/music using the theme that composer Nino Rota would make famous for its use in the 1968 film Romeo & Juliet, although it is most likely this tune is taken from their 1960 stage production of Romeo & Juliet.

The words are from a popular song of the 16th century song titled "Goddes of Love", from which Shakespeare lifted a fragment from. The tune for this song is also used in the dance song Turkeyloney, and neither appear to match the tune here.
