What kind of people were they? What inspired them to serve a corrupt administration with such enthusiasm and devotion? How did their careers unfold and their fates end? The series answers these and other questions by examining six of Hitler's cohorts. The portraits of these aides-de-camp provide viewers with a revealing psychogram of "Hitler's willing executors." Why would Hess commit suicide at age 93 right when it was looking like he would be released? The lying needs to end. Hess was murdered.

What i (and many others) assume is that he knew information that certainly the west wanted to hide, most likely something in connection with his flight to Scotland.

That doesnt mean he didnt commited suicide, that could be so, i (and many others) just have doubts about it considering the treatment he got compared to many others who played a far greater part in the warcrimes then Hess did, there were clearly other reasons for his threatment then his warcrimes.

Hess was trated the way he way he was because he was one of the founders of Nazi Germany. It was Hess who who helped pave the waty to power for Hitler. IT was Hess who was the person responsible for making all German institutions subordinate to the Nazi State and it was Hess who wan responsible for 'treating' the mentally retarted by having then executed.
