@csucre maybe also because he's played those songs over and over again, he does not play many chords at all, he's a pop musician. Nothing to blame for that

What does he sing instead of "you could distinguish Miles from Coltrane"?
I know he's been know to change it to "Me from Jack Johnson" or "Me from Dave Matthews" Any Ideas?

@mbrtfan he doesn't have to "remember" the chord. he knows which chord follows by simply "listening" to the song in his head. that's the difference between the pros and the amateurs :-)

For about a week after this show his crew webcast the audio from the soundboard. I just recorded it, and synced it with the video that I took.

No, he paused for a second to (jokingly) let the crowd start singing without him, and we all did! The audio that was broadcast didn't really get much of the audience noise.
