My wife filed for divorce because she thought I was cheating. I was doing no such thing. She did this after I lost my job. She worked 2 years out of the 12 we were married. Now SHE lives in the house "we" bought. Though I'm unemployed, I must pay her 1056 dollars a month. That suits her fine since the house payment is only $283 because I saved a huge down payment.

I don't even want a girlfriend. 2 minutes wanking in the bathroom gets rid any reason for one.

Marriage is okay for some people. Some men really just don't have any option outside of marriage. They're ugly, broke, and lack personality so marriage makes more sense for them. But to a guy with atleast 2 out of those three features, marriage isn't really in their best interest. I'm not hating on marriage completely because sometimes two people need each other and would be a mess without it but as for me I really doubt that i'll end up in a traditional marriage.

Usually it's the woman who files divorce. A man can say "I don't believe in divorce" but that doesn't matter when the woman files for divorce.

The only people who benefit from marriage are people in the bridal industry and lawyers. As a legal institution, it is probably the worst idea ever conceived by society. As a basis for romance, it fails much more than it succeeds. Most people only do it to live up to the expectations of others. My advice is don't do it. It's a trap and you will eventually regret it. And you will will pay dearly, both emotionally and financially. Avoid it at all costs.
