Nice trick but it won't work if they know that the opposite sides of a die always add up to 7.

Ok, A little extra for you here. If you take the dice and show 5's on one side & 2's on the other side by flipping the die as you do you can get an illusion that the the dot in the middle of the 5's will jump to the middle of the 2's after flipping it will be 4's on one side and 3's on the other side if you set the dice up properly. Thats my take on this trick give it a try.
