The editing here is fascinating and very effective in that it creates an almost other-worldly environment. The idea of the electric guitar may strike some classical music fans as absurd, but, to build on the idea of Jesus as the fulfillment of ages, and the realization of his teachings as the objective of humanity, it works. It ties our modern music and life style to that of the composer's time. The message remains the same, though we have new ways to express it. 5*
