Democratic presidential candidate and Illinois Senator Barack Obama spoke to about 18,500 people at a campaign rally in Des Moines Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007. The large crowd gathered, in part, because Oprah Winfrey spoke in support of Obama at the same event.

Of course Oprah is voting on race... I mean, is this even a question?? She is a racist, but because she is black, people don't call her a racist.

What if David Letterman would say he voted on Bush because he is white??? Exactly.... we would call him a racist.

Step number two is to take on employers. Right now, they -- an employer has more of a chance of getting hit by lightning than be prosecuted for hiring an undocumented worker. That has to change. They have to be held accountable. (Applause.)

Drivers licenses for illegals is a good thing. Think about it. How else would we be able to track them down and figure out how many are living here illegally. Thats part of the answer to illegal immigration. In that debate he said that we need to begin fighting immigration by holding employers responsible.
