The Speedboat to saona was definatly the ... all » highlight of the trip. Very cool!!!

A very rainy, dull sunday excursion to Saona island. Unfortunatly it was nothing like i had expected. Im not sure if we were taken to a bad part of the island but there was nothing picturesqe about it. I actually thought our hotel beach was nicer. (iberostar hacienda dominicus) We werent offered any fresh coconuts and there was very few vendors selling trinkets. Was it everyones day off today??? The drinks where poor and the bbq food looked like roadkill. I snorkeled for the duration of the time on the island in await for the catamaran to take us back to bayhibe.

The Catamaran back was ok although i would have rather had the speedboat as that was fun.
