He was a bust waste of 10 Million Dollars his ERA is like 4.92 such a bust

My boy Andre DelColle pitched against Porcello when he was a junior and Rick was a senior. Porc threw a no-hitter and DC pitched a full-game 2-hitter but lost. Unfortunately his elbow is for shit now otherwise he'd be pitching for the Angels today (they drafted him but he went to play college ball).

Wins (for pitchers) aren't a good stat for evaluating pitchers as they are dependent on bullpen, run support, etc. Things that the pitchers don't have control over.
I don't think Porcello's a bust (yet), but I have a hard time seeing him having a long, successful career when he has a very mediocre strikeout rate.

thank you mike ilitch

Anyone who passed him up is retarded!.. go tigers!

Ric Porcello didn't sucked. He's 14-8 and has the most wins in all the rookie pitchers in baseball. He's one of the reasons why the Tigers are still up there. He's worth all the hoopla!
-
Hes a rookie. what else you expect. Not every pitcher is going to be like Tommy Hanson of the Braves.
-
What a shock, ESPN analysts talk almost exclusively about the Yankees and Red Sox.

oh i just said Porcello sucked cause he sucked it up big time the other night on sunday night baseball vs. the sox. he has his good and bad games. i just dint like the way he pitched. but on his most recent start he was light out which is good.
Are you on drugs ? The kid is 20 years old, he is pitching in the big leagues and he already has 10 wins! Yeah he sucks real bad faggot
