It's a shame that a posting mildly crticial of a tiny part of Gov. Romney's speech has been removed from this site. This tells me that there is no tolerance for fair and open discussion. If you're truly a supporter of Mr. Romney, you're doing him no favors. And, of course, these remarks will also vanish.

@ers586 well how about the fact that we all, most of us, have origins in Europe and of course our language, culture and background are mostly European. The point is that our government and our freedom and the US Constitution is singularly unique and what separates us from the rest of the world. In fact, many other countries have taken our lead and adopted many of our beliefs and tenants which, in turn, have helped their people as well.

Mitt Romney is a man of real integrity and character and the more I learn about him the more impressed I am. And this scares the HELL out of his competitors especially the Obama camp! Some claim he is weak, whatever, there are always, ALWAYS naysayers but truly he has the greatest track record of ANY politician or businessman I have ever been aware of. I would give him a standing ovation were I there as well a very gracious man we are very lucky that he is even willing to run for President.
