ΞΥΛΟΥΡΗΣ - ΚΛΩΝΑΡΙΔΗΣ - ΑΚΡΑ ΤΟΥ ΤΑΦΟΥ ΣΙΩΠΗ

Απόσπασμα από συναυλία στο γήπεδο του Παναθηναικού το 1975. Ο Νίκος Ξυλούρης και ο Ηλίας Κλωναρίδης ερμηνεύουν το "Άκρα του Τάφου Σιωπή" από το Σχεδίασμα Β' των "Ελεύθερων Πολιορκημένων" του Διονυσίου Σωλομού (1798-1857). Μουσική-Διεύθυνση Ορχήστρας: Γιάννης Μαρκοπουλος. Συμμετέχει η χορωδία Τρικάλων. Σαντούρι: Αριστείδης Μόσχος.

ΟΚ....I'm really happy cause I managed to find this one. It is a fragment of a 1975 concert in the Panathinaikos' football field. Nikos Xyloyris, Elias Klonaridis and the Trikala Choit perform "Akra toy Tafou Siopi" (Total gravelike silence) from the second draft of the poem "Free Besieged", written by Dionysios Solomos (1798-1857). The poem itself was written in remebrence of the siege and the Exodus of the people of Mesologgi during the Greek war of Independence. Music by Yiannis Markopoulos who also conducts the orchestra. Aristeides Moschos plays the santouri. I apologise for the rather bad sound quality, as this was recorded by a VCR.
