Escher knew about the geometry that arises out of the CIRCULAR spiral, connected profoundly to its ANGULAR cousin >> the SWASTIKA.
I can refer you to more Escher Swastika prints if you like?
(shhh the swastika is a geometric gem)
And geometry is the language of ther right brain.
And the right brain is the seat of the collective unconscious.
