Formerly the Covies, the Golden Tornadoes were re-named in the 1960's after a tornado that took off the roof of Old Main. There were no injuries from the first tornado!

Cal Hubbard, a 1927 Geneva grad, is the only athlete ever to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Pro Baseball Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame.
Geneva's football team plays at Reeves Field, where former NFL quarterback Joe Namath played his high school games. Reeves Field recently went through major renovations, including new bleachers, press box, entrance, concessions stands, restrooms and artificial playing surface.
Geneva College is a member of the NCAA Division III, the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC).
There is not one mention that Geneva is the birthplace of college basketball. Also, the video description is full of mis-spellings. How embarrassing.
