RTC Park and Ride

Having a choice of conveniently located park and ride lots throughout the Las Vegas Valley is going to be an essential part of the RTC's transportation future. The Durango Drive and U.S. 95 park and ride facility will serve as a location where transit riders can park their cars and board an express transit vehicle or meet up with carpool or vanpool partners. Another park and ride center is planned at the intersection of Durango Drive and Westcliff Drive. Through a cooperative agreement with the City of Las Vegas, the RTC is planning to develop the Westcliff Transit Center. The 3.1-acre-site will feature a public parking lot, a loading and unloading area for transit vehicles, passenger waiting areas and other amenities. The Durango and U.S. 95 park and ride is scheduled to be completed in fall of 2009 while the Westcliff and Durango Drive park and ride is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2010.
