@Qazic12 I can agree. If anyone tried to invade us, we'd see it before they even left their homeland. Of course, if you use terrorism inside the US to disrupt our eyes and ears,such as satellites and the like, then it would be much easier to mobilize large masses of troops and attack a country.

@cmag3123 As am i a Canadian joining the forces in 1-2 years, after i graduate. I likewise have mad respect for the American military in general. I hope to be fighting along side Americans sometime.

Frankly I don't think "conventional warfare" is a threat to developed nations anymore. The military threats we really have to be prepared for are terrorism, nuclear weapons, biological weapons, and the future threat of nanotechnology weapons.

I've heard that the average Canadian soldier is equal to the average US Marine in terms of training.
In terms of accomplishments, Canadian soldiers are more effective.
