@chipmunklad7 how many women? well... depending on the number of men, anywhere between tens to thousands. Permanent Roman camps often had "camp wives" or even actual wives moved to the front by the soldiers. Temporary frontier camps would have absolutely had local women, even "local wives". A camp of 1000 men might have well over 100 women milling about at any time.

@GillsFan91 he isn't using gay as a pejorative... he is simply saying the characters are GAY. Literally prefer the company of men in bed. No derogatorily gay. Not pejoratively gay. Not "oh yeah, well your mom is gay... no YOUR mom is gay... yeah, well your FACE IS GAY" gay.... but actually homosexual.

The word gay did not even remotely cross my mind when i first saw this movie.

It was historically accurate and i would rate it a 8.5 because i will never rate anything a perfect movie.

In my experience, I know of mostly two types of homosexuals: the loud and proud flamboyant ones and the quiet, repressive ones. This, my friends, is a great example of the latter. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he really is gay. He is incredibly defensive on the topic. What gives?
