A deaf dog was rescued after being trapped in an Australian cave for five days. The 8-year-old cavalier King Charles spaniel named Scooby was stuck behind 19 feet of rock wall. (Sept. 10)

what rubbish holeshot. Animals form part of human relationships and teach us how to love unconditionally and bond with other living creatures and connect with nature. They will give you unquestioning devotion. The way people respond to animals tell you almost all you need to know about how they'll respond to other human beings. This family don't have an "emotional emptiness" - they have a well-spring of love and joy that they share with their lovely dog. I am sorry that you suffer from it tho.
