he should probably be the best rock vocalist ever. But he was not able to contribute much with more than a few hits and maybe was on the wrong side of hair metal maybe half a decade late. His accident also contributed to his popularity and talent.
That is why i do not think he will be accounted as the best ever but we fans do understand.
I wish he could still contribute to the modern music by making a mark with good music , different and versatile albums.

I truly think he could be THE BEST singer EVER....... truly. Seen Steelheart live, just as good live as recorded, maybe BETTER...... awesome..... AND I seen them "back in the day", and he's STILL GOT IT.
