Chiron by All That Remains (Rock Band expert drums) 5 stars w/hands, foot close-up

** Why this song?
I love ATR. I've only played this song a few times though, so I'm not very good at it. However, it has a lot of fast bass notes, so I'm putting it up to show that you can do it single-pedal (if you have a good pedal).

* Standard Disclaimer *
Despite being modded, my drums drop tons of notes. The blue pad is the worst, I think. You can see that I'm physically hitting the pads, but the game doesn't count it. So, most of these scores would be much higher if my drums worked correctly. I'd really like to get some better drums.

Sorry for the crappy/boring fills, I'm really not thinking about those when I'm concentrating on getting a good score. I'll try to work on those in the future though.

I don't really follow optimal OD paths -- my drums drop enough notes that it's usually not helpful.

** Do you play real drums?
I have a Yamaha DTXplorer set, but I don't play it very often, so...not really.


** Where did you get your bass pedal?

** Your grip is wrong!
In some of the videos it looks like I'm using a French Grip (palms facing each other), but I'm not--the angle of the camera makes it look weird. I'm sure I can improve my technique, but I am playing palms down.

@DrummingNonStop Advice is always welcome! But I don't think I hold them *that* high up, it seems a lot of people have about an inch at the bottom. Will try experimenting though. :)

Well it came with my DTXplorer kit, and then I modded it. You might be able to buy the pad part on ebay.
