Haven't heard this in a long time. So long ago in fact I had even forgotten it's name! Although I am only 16 I wish to take up organ lessons one day, as I love the instruments and a lot of the pieces. Great playing, I didn't think it was too fast it was the tempo in which the last organist I heard play it , played at and he is very good so I think you played it at the right tempo.

I really liked the pedal work at 3:19. I only wish I could play the pipe organ this well. At this point, I couldn't even get through the first sheet (LOL).

pzimmer I really enjoyed Trumpet Tunes by Stanley. Thank you so much for your performance.

Very good! This is one of the better versions posted on here. One piece of advice: try and always use the original editions of Baroque music. Less or no editorial markings and allows the performer more freedom and accuracy in performing. I have all three books of Stanley's voluntaries published in facsimile by Oxford University Press.
Can I get more specific information on this music? I would like to get the sheet music for this song so it can be played at my wedding.

The original piece by John Stanley should be known by most organists. It would make a great recessional at your wedding.
Below is a link to a vid of Diane Bish (the arranger) playing the piece on an enormous pipe organ.
I was searching to find the particular book on line, but couldn't find it. I'll have to look at the book in my library at church.

thanks. I like to keep things lively. I am often reprimanded on youtube for playing things too fast.
