I agree with you!
Uh...what's 'bukkake'?

out of 10, these all score around 115+ compared to today's efforts from the bbc..they simply have not a single clue how to make engaging children's animation anymore...i shudder to think of the mess they'll make of bagpuss if it gets remade.

i still have a bagpuss in a cabinet i had as a child. when you squeeze him he would sat " ohhh its rarther nice to have a cuddle"

I used to love bagpuss as a child, it's funny how they never sold any bagpuss toys back in the day, (i would loved my own little bagpuss toy:), but a few years ago they were selling bagpuss toys, 80's revival i guess.

Hahahh a very sick but nevertheless hilarious analogy. You've just scarred my childhood memories irreversibly!

interesting you know what bukkake is, and complain about explicit sex and filthy things....
remakes are always a bad idea though, I agree.
(they were 3-D back then, not 2-D)

I read with dismay that the BBC is intending to re-make Bagpuss No doubt they'll destroy the appeal of the original series with their trendy use of bad language and explicit sex. Well, I for one have no desire to see a 3-D Proffessor Yaffle and Gabriel the Toad spit-roasting Madeline the ragdoll whilst Bagpuss masterbates, culminating in a bukkake cum-bath featuring the mice off the mouse organ. Why can't these people keep their filthy ideas to themselves and leave this innocent programme alone?
I heard a rumour that Oliver Postgate was buried with bagpuss. I hope that is true, as it gives a new and poignant meaning to the phrase 'And Bagpuss gave a big yawn and settled down to sleep'. R.I.P. Oliver, You made my childhood happier. ;-)
