Sri Lanka army closes in on Tamil Tigers - 07 Oct 08

Sri Lanka's army says it is closing in on the Tamil Tigers' de facto capital in the north.

For more than two decades, the country has been entangled in a bitter civil war.
 
More than 50,000 people have been killed in the conflict between the military and the Liberation  Tigers of Tamil Eelam, or LTTE. 

Al Jazeera's Tony Birtley gained exclusive access to the Sri Lankan military as it approaches Kilinochchi.

Anyone know this war happening in srilanka has been conducted by INDIA itself.

Reason : Our former Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi (Fucker) was killed by LTTE. So now, Sonia Gandhi PM's wife (She isn't an indian citizen, so does her children). She now taking revenge on LTTE.

Note : LTTE Killed Rajiv 'casue he Rajiv send Indian Peace Keeping Force to crush down all tamilians in srilanka just how srilankan army doing now.

Sinhalese are arrogant because of a reason. We were the true locals of SL. Tamils were imported as labours by British when SL was under Queen's rule. even Muslims were here long before Tamil establishments. So if some one to start a war, it should be Muslims. What LTTE really did was they brain washed Tamils to think SL as their mother country. If u r a British what would u do if Tamils start a war saying this is their country.

There were three armed formations back in the day. All were allies of LTTE but when they realised what LTTE is really after they decided to stop supporting LTTE. As a result Prabakaran(LTTE leader) killed the other leaders and destroyed their families. LTTE was formed as a non armed community whom’s vision is to help Tamils. But their aspect of "HELP" soon became "DESTROY". So eliminating LTTE doesn’t has anything to do with Tamils. LTTE=Daemons, Tamils=Angels.
