@I3UCKWHEAT It's a wild rabbit, they are tough, don't worry about him being picked up by the ears, worry about him meeting up with me, because I will shoot him then cook him and feed him to my children while I look on with pride and satisfaction. When I look at the world around I see a new world coming, it won't be kind to the weak and the soft.

I think it's funny how people comment on how to properly hold a rabbit. It's a god damn rabbit, not a toy for the kids. It disgusts me that people domesticate them.
TREE HUGGER.

Rabbits only scream/squeak when they are dying, in pain, or terrified. Doing this can cause a heart attack in rabbits because their hearts beat so fast to begin with and they can literally die of fear. I suggest not doing thing. There are plenty of fake rabbit lures that come with sound effects to lure other animals. Use those instead.

I agree with the millions of other successful hunters who believe that when hunting you should respect every aspect of it, even your bait. :) I don't give a shit, call me a treehugger: this is cruel, unnecessary, and I think it's FAR superior to master an artificial call than to exploit a living animal for the death of another. I have a proud hunter in my family who introduced me to this concept (which really disturbs him). I didn't think it actually existed as a technique.
