  • How bittersweet this was for Darrell Waltrip! Watching his baby brother win a Daytona 500 and then receiving the news that his best friend had been killed in the crash that had allowed his baby brother , Michael, to win this race! I can still remember this day as if it were yesterday! And I have to say that I was NEVER an Earnhardt fan! Even after all this time it's still brings tears to my eyes! You had to respect this man who had SO SO SO SO much love for this sport! RIP DE!

  • @skating1611 Yeah i know what your saying...There has been crashes 10 times as bad..And the driver walked away without a scratch...But hitting a wall dead on at 160+MPH is what did it..

  • The commentator jinxed him!

  • surprising some1 died in there

  • sterling marlin did by accident tap dale barely.

  • His seatbelt fibers failed. The impact they say would have killed him regardless.

  • omg that was a mini mini crash !?

1994 he talk about sennas death crash !

  • Man I remember this Day like it was yesterday, Dale's death that day is still a big blow to auto racing even almost 11 years later now R.I.P Dale

  • Good gosh, people are so stinkin hateful. If you didn't like him, couldn't stand him, or what other reason you have for not liking him, then why the heck are you on here in the first place? Oh, I know! Cause you have no life other than to spend your time on YouTube making rude comments to people!!

  • I'm a Formula One fan, and I always thought the death of Ayrton Senna was the worse thing to happen to racing. But after watching the video of Dale giving respect to Ayrton in '94 I see now that racing has indeed lost two heroes. It's a shame, both of their wrecks looked very survivable by today's standards. Respect from an F1 fan to the Nascar world. R.I.P Dale.
