The prototype track layout for a project I am doing, the final animation will hopefully be very similar to a race in wipeout, the project will involve quite a lot of user feedback so that I can get a better finished product, feel free to comment on the track layout, as pretty much everything else WILL be changed, allthough the current lighting may be used on a small part of the track.

  • nice.. wish i could do that..

    recently started on blender XD

how long have you learned blender fully?

  • not long, the way I learnt was to do a tutorial, then muck about with what it gave you for a bit, trying to intergrate other blender things into it.

  • Cool, I see you're using Mirage ship :D

  • yeah, I've got all the pulse ships in dxf format(i think) so there's the possiblity of a proper wipeout race, featuring official ships.

  • I don't really understand the impossibly tight corners.

  • almost all these corners would have flung you off.

  • I that a Mirage-Ship ? =P Hehe sweet

  • I want to make animations like that too!! :D (maybe soon)

  • Perfect lap they should make a new psp wipeout game called wipeout domination

  • awesome! i actually had a very very similar project back when i was in high school. using a wipeout-esque ship and a track/city type thing. I found that I had to REALLY increase the size of the track. I realized that I'd need more room for other contenders.

  • wtf mirage?

  • What a ride!

  • wow... is amazing !!! 5/5

  • honestly i think you are making a scale mistake...i see the track absolutely narrow compared to the ship, then, the bends are too hard and with not enough geometry...my advice is to keep the main shape of the track, but making the base section larger, and with more steps in the bends. i've done 3d art for quite a while so i think i know what i'm saying :P
