It's been a while since I made this vid, personally I would only make 4 if I needed them, if 2 is working for you then probably not.

i am sorry but that looks like hard work to me.I just got confused.If you want to see a really good way to subnet try paul brownings method subnetting secrets video on here so much easier to understand.

Yeah some like the tables approach. When I taught, I had some students who preferred that approach, whatever helps you to learn it is the right way. I found this method appeals to those who didn't like the tables. Like I say in my video, it's not the math that screws people up it's the splicing of octets. It's kind of like those computer generated pictures they sell in novelty stores that you have to stare at for a while to see the picture inside the picture.
