Master Lock Series 3 (Jiu Jitsu) 3 of 3

April 29, 2009- 3 of 3. Intro to Master Lock Series continued. Single and Double Arm Sever. Please try it out and critique! Thanks in advance! [NOTE: There may be more to come when I get a training partner again to work out the kinks.]

I've been Grappling since December 08 trying to improve my Rubber Guard. I watched Wolverine's Puppet Master videos and saw an opportunity for an opening for a new position. I took a week or so practicing on my preggo wife and coming up with a series of new moves that I have not seen before. I really just want to see this move critiqued to see how effective it is as I am still a Newbie to Grappling.

it's def an interesting position... the only weakness i see in it is the slightly compromised base from a BJJ standpoint... your opponent is most likely going to be FREAKING out and leaning back into you and bridging which will take away alot of your mobility (as you'll most likely be on your back as well instead of sitting).... I do like the open masterlock however cause of how relatively easy it seems to get into from the back....
