@kockgunner I agree with you completely about the status of today's television shows, but to be fair, 7th Heaven talked plenty about sex and drugs, especially throughout the last half of its run. Not that I think shows shouldn't educate young people about those issues--they absolutely should--but the writing was so heavy handed and ridiculous much of the time. Series creator Brenda Hampton is the same person who worked on "Blossom" and currently, "Secret Life of the American Teenager".
