David hayter wasn't really trying to much in MGS4. Snake was, or is old snake. So david needed to speak in an old man voice for snake, he can still do the young snake's voice pretty well.

@salimdabest123 yes it's him. I've played all the games and I think he sounded most natural during the first game. In the other games, it sounds like he is trying too much and it makes him sounds unnatural somehow, even tho snake's voice is still awesome as ever. But I like it the best during the first game
