Unashamedly the gayest record of the last twenty years. Easily !!!! I had planned to not put any more "Disco 2008" tracks up on YouTube, but how on EARTH dare I not post up this one ??? "Disco 2008" is here. And I'm reunited again with Angie Gold. Angie is a studio legend and has appeared on countless tracks as one of the UK's top session singers. She had a huge hit with 'Eat You Up' in Japan, becoming one of the two biggest ever Western language records to be successful in the Orient, selling about ten million copies there. Angie recorded in the 1980s under many names, and her voice appears on countless dance hits. She worked with me many times, for Passion, Nightmare, and an entire album on Hot Records in the early 1990s. I mixed "Applause" and produced "Third Finger Left Hand" for Passion, I cut "Right Back In The Middle" for Nightmare and the album, "The Best Of Angie Gold" on Hot, from Miami. She now lives in the Canary Islands. This retro disco high energy stomper is yet another for our brand new album "Disco 2008" to have a finished video here on YouTube. We have now finished recording all of the twenty four songs going on it, plus three more songs just for the DVD version. As for the videos, and there is a video for each and every track, we have finally finished them all and delivered them for manufacture. As you can imagine, we've all been very busy here at Centre City Records. This album is twenty four all brand new tracks, all of which have a free DVD with them, to watch each artist perform them, and keep classic Disco alive for this millennium. The album is released on December 3rd 2007.
The Divas rule once again. Well anyway, the exciting news is that "Disco 2008" is nearly here. 24 brand new Disco tracks in time for Christmas. All of them recorded since August 2007. 24 fabulous retro disco delights, with a DVD also, of the performances of all 24 songs that are on the CD plus three bonus tracks. I love it. PLEASE buy "Disco 2008" in December, available through Vital, and marketed by GoldSoul Records.
