Nuclear power plants also use turbine technology and produce steam as well as others.
Plus, they produce a lot more wate water which also has a ´huge negative effect on climate change.
To claim they don't produce gasses is quite silly,
look at them and you will find CHIMNEYS.
Why do you think this is?
And why are they so high?

Uranium mining & processing produces plenty of green house gasses to say nothing of radioactive waste from mining plus nuclear fission products at the other end. Why do we need six thousand degrees of heat to boil water? Seems a little excessive to me.
Conservation & renewable energy from wind, solar & geothermal are the real solutions for the 21st century.
Nuclear can't exist without massive govt subsidies and taxpayer bailouts. Obama's got it wrong, nuclear is not part of the real answer.

Nuclear energy is the cleanest method for producing electricity. Boil water, make steam, get those turbines spinning..and no toxic gas in our atmosphere (from coal, diesel, etc.) Go Obama!!
