I'm a bit confused by this scene. The raptor in the scene is the "Big One" or the pack leader, right? In the full scene, you can clearly hear gunshots implying that the workers did, indeed, shoot her. How is she still around for the rest of the film?

One thing about this scene is about the gate keeper. When first being pulled in he's black, then he's white at the end. WTF?!
