This song reminds me of this Frost poem. Both Frost and Ritter seem to have the same idea.
Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.

he seems to change the key whenever he sings this song, doen't seem to have one normal key. still cool to hear a different version. beautiful song
