This Top10 list is compiled from www.lemonamiga.com Top100 list. This is the top 10 list standing at 19 October 2009. If you do not like the list then go and vote for your favorite Amiga game. The current leader got an average 9.18/10 with 376 votes.

1.Secret of Monkey Island
2.Monkey Island 2
3.Sensible World of Soccer
4.Lemmings
5.The Settlers
6.Cannon Fodder
7.Pinball Fantasies
8.Ambermoon
9.Simon the Sorcerer
10.Speedball 2

I have not personally played all these games, I just found prerecorded amiga games from predominantly www.recordedamigagames.org and made a "1 minute trailer" of each game. My personal top 10 list would have included It Came From The Desert, Mortal Kombat 2, Roadkill, Super Street Fighter 2, Golden Axe, Lotus Turbo Challenge, Super Cars... Maybe I'll make another list with my personal childhood favorites if I got time or if I won't go to crazy to figure out which game was my favorite.

  • @whackyronu It is NOT my toplist, read the description, and lemmings was at #4 on this list ;-) I would definately had included It came from the desert and Super Cars 2 if I would have compiled the list myself...

  • No Superfrog or Fire n Ice?!

  • @Met182 Superfrog is currently #29 and Fire'n'Ice is currently not even in top100 at lemonamiga. If I'd compile my own Top10 then superfrog would definately be there. SuperCars2 and It came from the desert would also made my own list of games that I played the most...

  • What Super Mario is for NES kind of is Giana Sisters for the Amiga so besides personal preference I miss that. However, I've played pretty much the whole list - awesome times :)

  • Would have to include Beneath A Steel Sky(which came on about 16 floppy discs!) and Pirates!. Also Zool and CoolSpot lol memories.

  • i have all of these games... lots of hours well spent :)

  • anyone else realize those are the same sound effects from Sonic spinball (the first games music)

  • My name is Guybrush Threepwood and I want to be a pirate!

  • @emilen2 yeah, this sounds more like a megadrive version.

  • monkey island wat a game

  • c64 ... achja das waren noch die guten alten zeiten als es noch keine cd-roms gab sowas kann man sich heutzutage gar nicht mehr vorstellen

  • No cannon fodder ingame music?

Maybe not during the gameplay but there is more than just the intro music.

  • Enough with the Atari ST vs Amiga debate, they're both awesome. It all boils down to taste. I prefer the ST because it's easier to run PAL games in NTSC, which is where I live.
