Don't worry about one workout my friend, you can't expect to make gains every single week or you would be stronger then Hercules in only a few months ;) as long as your still hitting the gym you will still be losing weight and gaining muscle. Remember muscle weighs more then fat so don't be put off by what the scales alone tell you ;)
If you just did 45 seconds of research you would see your totally wrong, its like arguing that the earth is flat. Enjoy your disgusting body, and enjoy knowing that starving yourself is actually no doing anything to your body! Seriously i wish you the best with your superior knowledge and dieting strategy.
ant: yeah im sure you can shoot heroin up a few times and still be healthy, but if you do something unhealthy enough it will catch up to you. Ill bet 1000 bucks that you have an ugly body probably really scrawny and gross or still a fat ass, just by you understanding od working out and diet i can tell. Scientificly it's impossible to keep muscle mass and deprive yourself of 3000 calories a day, which is how much you would have to burn daily to loose 6lbs in a week.

If you do anything as a hobby that means you do it casually but frequently. have you seen what runners look like? they are all lean people, the only chunky runners are newbies and people who, well, don't run that often or in your words it's not a true "hobby" of theirs. Oh, and the "fact" that loosing 5-10 lbs a week is healthy, well that can be your little secret.... Keep that little bit of 411 ALL TO YOURSELF PLEASE!

You want to at least maintain your muscle mass while loosing body fat and if you start dropping weight at a rate of 5-10 lbs a week you're losing muscle as well as fat guaranteed, 10lbs a week is 1.4lbs a day!! It's IMPOSSIBLE to burn that much FAT is a day, you're loosing muscle a water weight and it's not safe, don't fucking say it is. It's obvious your either a newbie at working out/fitness or you just like spreading BS around.
The best way to measure your body fat is to buy a scale that measures your body fat. They are not that expensive and some even tell you your hydration level. That way you can really tell if you loosing fat vs muscle. IE: loose 5lbs and if your body fat is the same or up and your hydration is the same your loosing muscle so you need to add protein to your diet. Or if you gain and your body fat is the same or down and your hydration is up you know its just water weight. its the best way to track.
