Actually, there is tension on screen too. That usually happens when people are married or engaged in real life. Thats why it doesnt happen when Emma acts with the other actors.

Oh definetely. Even in Peter's Friends, you could see they were married. Have you ever noticed that at the beginning of PF, KB kisses Em on the lips, while kissing everyone else on the cheek? And they aren't a couple in the film. Dead Again really shows their love for eachother, and the spark is definetely there.

Maybe it´s just me, but you can see real tension and passion when Emma Thomson is with Kenneth Branagh, and not with those other actors like Alan Rickman... Well I havent seen all of her movies.
However here it´s so obvious they were married. je,jeeee je.
