A lot of Maynard's lyrics suggest that we all stop "believing" in all the BS that ppl tell us, simply because its easier. I think this song is talking about the times Maynard got molested when he was younger. He recalls the experiences that he went through and that the a**hole who did it started by acting as if he were some martyr thereby making it okay. "Do unto others what has been done to you" Is a saying that a lot of ppl(especially religious) feel one should take into account when living their lives. But from Maynard's point of view, if this is indeed true, should he do unto others what has been done to him?

Actually a religuos view is do unto others as you would have them to do you. not do unto others what has been done to you. Infact the religous saying "turn the other cheek" is all about not doing to others wat they do to you.

because he is born in a prison with no escape, i think the loss of legs is a metaphor of how trapped he is their is many ideas of what this video can mean but my Opinion is, it represents us all, we are created like this doll was, without any prior knowledge to the creation, and we all have a creator, our parents, and "god" some think. and in the end the doll is put back in the drawer next to tons of other drawers, i think its a que to say we are all together but still in our own little world
