@Atlasbreaker666 I dont think he meant it in the way he formed his words. I think he means that songs like this allows us to feel emotions like empathy towards people who had to suffer through unfortunate events in their lives. Some of the songs made by tool would somehow manage to have a profound effect on me, like IDK Vicarious. I'm not sure if it makes any sense to you what i'm saying.
